Strangers in the Sunlight

A thousand hearts pass mine,
none stop – yet all belong.
The city sings a nameless song,
and I follow, curious, alone.

To vanish in the crowd,
to be unseen, yet alive –
there’s freedom in not being known,
and wonder in simply arriving.
